USCCA DEFENSIVE PISTOL PROGRAM

What is it?

The Defensive Pistol Program (DPP) is a comprehensive, multi-level training curriculum deigned to equip students the necessary skills so effectively and responsibly defend themselves. With its unique focus on skill development, objective- and performance-based training and adaptability to individual skill levels, DPP differentiates itself amidst a competitive landscape of individual trainers. local shooting ranges and national organizations' current training offerings.

Training Structure

The Defensive Pistol Program consists of one classroom module, five live-fire range modules and a final assessment. In order to maximize the effectiveness of motor-learning and skill-acquisition science, this class is taught starting with the classroom portion as the overview of the program and to give context to the training program. The live-fire range modules of the program are taught next, with the students attending one module per week.
